Yesterday

Yesterday was a day that I will remember forever

For yesterday was the first day of yesterdays 

That I can recall with love

For yesterday I was myself

Yesterday I woke in the morning

And I said this is going to be a fine day

Yesterday I recall being on my best behavior

Yesterday I recall being with 

My co-workers and friends and loved ones

Yesterday I made a pledge to myself

For yesterday I could see the path 

That I have laid out for myself

Yesterday I took my first step

Yesterday I began my journey

Today is today and today

I am anxious to continue

When I woke up I saw that I was here and now

That all was good

That all was as it should be

That all that is all can ever be all, is all

And then I moved on

Until then I was stuck

Stuck in my stuff

How will I get unstuck

Until I do

What will tomorrow be like
