Fresh Start

This is my FRESH start

I have gone to places

I didn’t know existed

I have seen things

That I didn’t know were there

I have opened my heart, my mind

And I am at a place

Where there is no turning back

So do I stay stuck and cry

      Or do I trudge thru the mud

                           Rinsing away all the debris

And connect

Connect with those I have disgraced
Such a distasteful word

Such vengeance in the meaning

Yet I can resurrect my love and my meanings

I can build a new bridge

I can

And I will

For I AM
