When the carpet is pulled out from under me
I hold my chin up and I try to be brave
For bravery elicits many emotions
Kindness, compassion and rejoicing
I stand tall and I am in my space
My light shines
I receive and I send love, kindness and understanding
All these qualities are mine
Mine and mine alone, but I share them
So in essence they are qualities found in one and all
Being present allows me the voice of now
Speaking the words of wisdom
Exactly what I need to hear
