When sadness comes
My tears fall
My heart is heavy
I must realize
I need to address my needs
When I get all caught up
When I get so overwhelmed
I retreat to scared
Yet all I need to do
Is comfort myself
For I will not find this
In a bottle
In smoke
In a pill
Nor in another
When I connect with ME
I have connected with the UNIVERSE
