New Beginning

Yesterday I was angry

Today I am complacent

Yet as I sit and write 

I think about tomorrow

Tomorrow the sun will come up and warm me

As I contemplate happiness

I feel refreshed

I feel alive

I feel thankful

Thankful, I am here, really here

Just Being

For when I am being

I am myself

I am the one

Who knows

Nothing takes place until I begin

When you open

You will receive

There is nothing

In this world

Like being open to receive

The joy, the pleasure, the omnipresence

Is so remarkable

Is so enlightening

There is nothing

Absolutely nothing

That comes close to this

To sit in this glory

Allowing all that comes your way

To come your way

And to feel it

Surround yourself with it

It being the transformation

Of human to spirit

One way in
Isn’t that the truth
There is only
One way in
And that way
Is built into your essence
You have tried to close this down
You have been successful
For many years
But as with all else
It bubbles up
And erodes your senses

Allow, just a sliver
For when you have stepped back
And allowed this sliver of light
To penetrate
One way in opens the door
Opening the door to enlightenment
Glorious, glorious, glorious enlightenment
This is your calling

Accepted all that comes your way

Miracles happen
Miracles happen all around us
A miracle is something
That can be so small
Like a grain of sand
Or so big like the universe
Yet each and everyone
Experiences a miracle
Every moment of their lives
As you read this
You shake your head no
No way
But let me tell you this
Did you see a bird fly
A dog bark
Feel or give a kiss
Miracles are all around us
As we too are a miracle
