Winter woes are slowing slipping away

Bringing signs of spring

When the thaw begins

Opportunities for new growth appear

Who I AM

Many times I think of what I want to do with my life

Many times I think there is not enough time

Yet I know if I do not do what I want to do now

I will never do what I want to do
So as I push myself further and further

I know that I have accomplished

All that I have set out to do

Yet there is a part of me

That is soooooooo grandeur

I am afraid to step into that role

To be bigger than life

To be bigger than all get up

Freshen up

Freshen up my mind

My mind can take me on journeys

Of the past, present and my future

I can conjure up anything that I can imagine

I can believe what I have conjured up

I can believe anything that I want

Yet

In my mind this all seems real

My stories, my events, my hurts

My physical hurts have stayed with me for years

It is now time to release them

To give them to God

Releasing these hurts and fears

Allows me to have room for my most precious gift
