As you venture into your next cycle

Radiance

Today I feel elated

Today I really feel my emotions

Today is my future

I’ve been waiting so long

For permission

But by being a child of God

I can truly say I allow myself this glory

Forsaken

When you forsake yourself

You are cheating the one who loves you

You are taking away all your love and glory

That you have to offer to you

For when you give love to yourself last

Or if you never give love to yourself ever

You loose

Your loose your faith

You loose your trust

You loose any hope of peace

Giving to yourself first and foremost

Is the simplest thing in the whole wide world

Yet we struggle to accept ourselves

With all our wonderments and faults

Take a deep look at yourself

Accepting your faults are your characteristics

Making you the unique person you are

My Journey

As I reminisce

Old thoughts creep into my mind

Giving me great pleasures

Giving me great sorrows

Allowing me to see my journey

The journey I took

As I stand on my path

Wondering what is my next step

A wash of love sweeps over me

Lifting the curtain that blurred my vision

In this moment, I can see so clearly

I know that I have journeyed

To the most beautiful place

For I have united with all that is

All that ever will be

And all that I can become

Stepping out of my comfort zone

Gives me shivers

Gives me hope

Gives me success

For when I am internal

I see things from my point of view

Yet when I look at the world

Through the lens of Spirit

I see

I feel

I comprehend

All that has made that Spirit sing

Singing is a misnomer for feel

For when I feel I will sing

And when I sing I will rejoice

Friendships

True friendships are scarce

You think friendships are what you expect them to be

Or not

For when you are in a friendship

All should be equal

Yet, what in life is truly equal

Only that what you give to yourself

If you allow yourself

The pleasure of being a friend to yourself

Life opens up

Odd as this seems

We generally put ourselves on the back burner

And let others lead the way

To overcome, always think of yourself first

Bring in the light to you

For when you bring in the light

And stay open in your heart

The friendship that you so seek

Single out one trait of yourself
As you do, honor yourself
First for being so honest
Second for allowing yourself to step into your personal space
Third to hold your trait in the palm of your hand
This is one of the most precious gifts
You could ever give yourself
For when we search for traits
We often go for the ones that are not pleasant

Yet as we hold them
And observe them
We find that our trait is rather pleasant
Not cynical as we first believed, Bravo
Thank your trait for being a part of you
