I am fearful

Being so full of fear, I am stopped in my tracks

I am apprehensive

Being so full of fear and apprehension, I am stuck in my tracks

I am quiet

Being so full of fear, apprehension and silence, I can not speak

Yet when I call on God,

When I pray to God, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit

I am free

I am free to move, to speak, to be open

Open to anyone, anything and all that crosses my path

I am love

I am light

I am one with the Triune God

I am truly FREE

True Love

For when I am me

Nothing else matters

Yet I allow impurities to penetrate

That which I feel

And that is my heart

When my heart gets clogged with impurities

I take it to heart

And I fall prey to undesirables

Yet when my heart is pure and cleansed

I can be the most wonderful person in the world

God give me the strength to be pure

Today I am me

Today I woke up and said wow this is really me

I am so happy to be me

For if I am not me

Then I am trying to be something that I am not

And if I try and put on that image

It just totally takes me out of all that I believe

Yet when I am where I am

I am tall and I am mighty

I am loving and I am at peace

What more can I ask for
